I grew up before malls. We went downtown to shop. We dressed nicely too...no sloppy jeans and shirts. That was for yardwork!
Running all over town comparing prices and shopping was fun. There were so few choices...just a few stores to checkout, grabbing an ice cream in between. Nowadays, shopping is a "whole different ballgame"! We have the world to choose from...at our fingertips. I have found that merchants are charging all kinds of prices. To run around the net checking them all out would be a lot harder than checking out a couple of stores in the old days.

ReplyDeleteAnd yes, that's how easy shopping nowadays unlike before wherein you need to visit from shop to shop to find what you're looking for. Today shopping is done in just a few clicks of your mouse at home.
